Hi-TEA!
[ 7:48 PM ]

ever since i came back from europe, i have a strong desire to go HI-TEAing again. i had high-tea twice when i was over there (such a tai-tai life i noe), once with the girlies in london, and the other with my junior when we were at Bath (@ Sally Lunn’s). i loved the wide variety of teas available, and the scones together with the jam and cream. surprisingly, scones can be veh filling too! of cuz, it's always good to catch up with ur friends n indulge in girly-talk once in a while, in a comfortable setting with nice ambience, slowly sipping your tea away!
it also reminds me of the theme i have in mind for my sister's 21st nxt yr! i m planning for her TEA PARTY for her bday, most likely at our new place because we shld have moved there by then. then i can go scouting for those tea cutlery, cups, tea leaves and snacks! yummyyyy.
well, yest i went to mandarin gallery with the girls (spring break grp!) to have HI-tea :D initially we planned to go ARTEAS-TIQ. according to
hungrygowhere.com, the reviews are good just a tad expensive. so we decided to wonder around n chanced upon
jones the grocer. well, it looks quite good a coffee place. but i decided to try on their teas, scones and MACAROONS! yums. not bad on my first try, will definitely head back for their other food.
at the same time, i do have other TEA places in mind, which i hope to explore soon someday! the TEA COSY at plaza sing 5th floor, the TWG @ion/ republic plaza and of cuz those at mandarin gallery. wow researching on these food makes me excited and hungry at the same time! and it exposes me to more food blogs out there. there's one which i particularly like,
the food sirens.blogspot i tink. other times, hungrygowhere should serve as an adequate guide!
till then,
ciao!
