yesterday's incident ended my week with unforgettable memories. and it made me think of how eventful my stay in uiuc had been. let's recount those events again:

1) on the way to skiing for the second time, when jon was driving, sth happened to the car. luckily everyone and everything was fine :)wat a rollercoaster ride it had been. haha.

2) i was trying to warm my pop tarts with the microwave, and i tink i heated it for too long. before i knew it, the microwave started smoking away, and i activated the smoke detector. luckily no fireman came. it was rather embarrassing, and i was kinda freaked out. johnyong should know this, because i was on the phone with him, i sounded super distracted when that incident occurred.

3)friday was unofficial day! everyone celebrated by wearing green and drinking whole day long. we had our mini party too. warm-up session at theng's room for 1hr plus, where i drank 2 shots of barcardi and it burnt my throat. then we went to yc's place, and the drinking n games officially began. i swear i din noe i drank so much, i was just taking sips of the different drinks before i passed them out of the bar. i tink the ultimate came when i was playing games with yongji n he made me gulp down several cups of mixed drinks. after tt my head was throbbing mad along with the music and i retreated to yc's room. where i puked 3 times. argghhh. horrible feeling. but i know i din do anything stupid, and i was still sober. though not exactly clear-minded.

4) yesterday was the first time i'm here when there was a warning of TORNADO. the wind was really strong i swear. i almost got blown away while making my way to wohlers hall for project. but luckily there wasn't tornado, or else it would have been my 2nd most eventful thing that ever occurred to me. then on my way back, bumped into johnny and took the lift. i was alone in the lift making my way to 8th floor when the stupid lift stalled at 4th floor. pressed the alarm but reckoned nobody would come save me, so the first thing i did was to call johnny since he shld be still at the front desk. after half an hour stuck in the lift, some nice guy came over and asked me if i was ok. n he kept me accompany for the remaining half an hour by playing some games with me n chit-chatting. that really helps since i was almost falling asleep inside due to boredom, and though i attempted to read my strategic management notes. finally, at 4.30pm, someone came to rescue me! yay! apparently the winds in uiuc were so strong that there was power outage in many parts. and we were disconnected from the world for many hours till night. (no internet!!)
