finally, have been looking forward to weekends since the start of teaching. teaching at chongfu pri is not easy, do get discouraged at times. esp when u feel helpless at not being able to control the rowdy class, esp.when u din noe wat to do with the class, esp. when u dont wan to disappoint ur ex-pri sch teacher who is now a vice principal there. teaching there has higher expectations and stress than any other sch i guess, luckily i still have elaine n ritzley with me. so we can go lunch together and complain abt everything else together. even the weather has to go against me...been raining whole day long..so much so that its freezing cold at all times. and another worry is the kind of clothes we have to wear as teachers..formal work wear. guess i have to go for another shopping trip to get my things done? and my poor feet, my shoes have been giving my feet lots of blisters..everywhere. now i really appreciate the days when i can just wear sports shoes and birks, not heels.
but, of cuz i din learn sth. to be more firm with the kids (which requires much thought abt that) and the diff.ways of interactive teaching that i can go about doing. hope the following week will be a better one!
missed campfire yesterday night. but it has been raining and i got to work at night. sian. working at john little isn't that bad, just pack clothes..dont really have to talk to anyone..like some autistic child haha. and i was complaining to ritz that the only few friends i have been in contact with recently is elaine, ritz and wanzhen. though i still msg eleanor and chaorong. how sad can my life be? waking up at 530 every morning, reaching school at 6.30am, going home at 5pm and leaving home for night packing at 7.30pm and reaching home at night at 11.15pm. it has all been a routine for me for the past few days. persevere on!
off to give tuition to my cousin :P
